I believe the most powerful images are created through trust, patience, and presence.

Hello / As-Salaam-Alaikum!

I grew up on Brisbane’s northside, where a love for animals, especially marine life, shaped me from a young age. That passion has guided much of my life’s journey, taking me far beyond home and into some unexpected places.

In my early twenties, I moved to Oman in the Middle East, where I spent six years living and exploring the country and culture. During this time, I volunteered with local animal rescue organisations, helping to rescue and rehabilitate street dogs. It was here that I first picked up a camera, using photography as a way to give these dogs a voice and a better chance at adoption. What began as a practical tool quickly grew into a deep creative passion. Along the way, I also adopted three beautiful street dogs of my own.

Bringing them home to Australia was an adventure in itself—one that took me through the Netherlands and the England for six months before finally settling on the Sunshine Coast. I now work as a veterinary nurse, continuing to dedicate my life to animal care and welfare.

Alongside my photography, I hold a Diploma of Interior Design, which strongly influences my creative approach. It shapes the way I view each image, not just as a moment captured, but as something that will live within a space. I’m intentional about the photographs I choose to offer as prints, considering how they feel, flow, and connect within an interior.

This perspective allows me to create work that is both meaningful and considered. Images that not only tell a story, but also bring a sense of balance and connection into the home.

When I’m not working or behind the camera, my life is a little slower paced, spent reading (usually around 50 books per year), heading to Brisbane Lions home games or relaxing at home with my dogs. While I don’t get into the ocean as much as I used to, my time spent scuba diving and freediving left a lasting impression.

Being immersed beneath the surface has deepened my respect for fragile ecosystems and the importance of conservation, shaping how I see and photograph the natural world. My work is guided by a desire to protect what we’re so lucky to share this planet with, focusing on connection, compassion, and the stories that deserve to be seen and preserved.

Thank you / Shukran!

What Sets Me Apart?

Purpose-driven beginnings

I started photography to help street dogs find homes, and storytelling with heart remains at the core of my work.

Off the beaten path

I aim to create imagery that goes beyond the familiar. I photograph places, cultures, and wildlife that are seldom explored or documented.

Calm, animal-first approach

I work patiently and respectfully, always prioritising an animal’s comfort and trust.

Unique global perspective

Years living overseas and working with rescue organisations have shaped a compassionate, intuitive style.

Art beyond the lens

Alongside photography, my digital watercolour work allows me to reimagine real moments in nature, adding a softer, interpretive layer to my storytelling.

Distinctive, intentional imagery

I offer unique photography that blends technical skill, ethical practice, and artistic vision—resulting in images that feel authentic, immersive, and deeply connected to place.
